We want to make it as easy as possible for you to pay your rent.

Self Service website

You can use our Self Service website to carry out a range of tasks around your rent account.

Direct Debit

The easiest way to pay your rent is to set up a Direct Debit.

The main benefit of Direct Debit is that once it’s set up you don’t have to worry about your payments as your rent is automatically paid from your bank account. You can set up a Direct Debit by:

Standing order

You can complete a standing order form to take to your bank and your rent will be paid automatically to us. Your rent payments continue at the agreed amount until you change or you cancel them.

Allpay payment card

This is a plastic payment card you can use to pay your rent at any Post Office or Pay Point outlet. Simply take your card with your payment and pay over the counter.

To pay rent online you need a debit or credit card and an Allpay payment card.

Payment by phone

You can pay your rent by phone using either a debit or credit card. There are two options for paying by phone:

  • call us direct on tel: 0300 111 1000 - this is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • use Allpay’s 24 hour payment line on tel: 0844 557 8321 (you must have an Allpay payment card so you can quote the reference number).

Payment app

You can use an app for your smartphone or tablet to pay your rent online.

The app is available for iPhone and Android phones - all you need to do is visit the allpay website for instructions on how to download it.

Rent direct for housing benefit

If you claim housing benefit you can pay your rent by ‘rent direct’. This means that your rent is paid directly to us from your housing benefit so you don’t have to worry about making a payment yourself.

When you claim housing benefit, you simply ask for your rent to be paid directly to your landlord.

By post

You can pay your rent by post using a cheque or postal order. You need to include your name and address on the back of the cheque or postal order so we know which account to pay the cheque into. You can send your payment to:
